The movie itself is an adaptation of a juvenile pocketbook novel written by Alesana Marie for Psicom(now Viva Psicom) and produced by Viva Entertainment and Skylight Productions and distributed by Viva Films.
We asked Ms. Marie where did she come up with the title and she simply said the idea came during the Meteor Garden fever especially about the "red note". The good thing with this movie was not only that Ms. Marie allowed the adaptation rights but she also serves as consultant. When screen writer Keiko Aquino drafts the script for the movie, she consults Ms. Marie for it.
After the success of their tandem in the previous adapted movie, Diary Ng Panget, Nadine Lustre is reunited with James Reid joined by Joseph Marco and Yassi Pressman and directed by Andoy Ranan.
