You don't get to see two box-office actress in one production that often so it is a rare opportunity to see actress from two different networks paired up in a movie. That is the case with the latest movie, Kung Fu Divas starring Ai-Ai Delas Alas and Marian Rivera.
What makes this movie so unique that the visuals and special effects are from the same people that brought you Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles. Ai-Ai admits that she find it difficult pretending that she is dodging arrows that will appear in the post-production while doing a sequence in green screen.
Marian said that even though they are doing scenes in a CGI environment, there are stunts that are real. Ai-Ai and Marian experienced hanging in stunt cables and coordinated fight scenes with Hong Kong stuntmen. Ai-Ai confessed that these stuntmen are really as hard as a block. Marian said she already has experienced doing stunts in her Darna series, it was more challenging in this movie. Both of them took Wushu kung fu training for this movie.
Kung Fu Divas opens October 3 in Philippine cinemas.
