Review: Steve Carell's comedy is not far from Jim Carrey's. They first worked together in Bruce Almighty when he played a minor character that will soon have its title role, Evan Almighty. But this is the first probably the first that he gone slapstick meaning he also had lots of comedy stunts.
Steve Carell proved to be just as versatile and flexible in playing the role of Burt Wonderstone. Somehow, the fictional magicians mirrors some real life magicians. Speaking of real-life magicians, there is also one surprise appearance of one who is very much familiar.
Jim Carrey also came back to his roots of slapstick comedy that he was known for. Who would have thought that he would play the antagonist for this one. It is really a fun to watch but it was Olivia Wilde who really made it worthwhile to watch. Also starring Steve Buscemi and Alan Arkin.
