The Love Punch movie review

Story: Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson plays an ex-couple who got rip-off from their pension and going to steal it back for them and their colleagues.

Review: The story reminds me of Fun With Dick and Jane but there are some differences. What I didn't realize was that Pierce Brosnan can do well with comedy since I am familiar with him as James Bond and Thomas Crowne and a lot of tough characters.

Also, he does a good tandem with Emma Thompson in this movie. Both of them are also British. I appreciate a different kind of doing movies outside Hollywood. What makes it more unique is that it does not need a big budget for a quality movie making.

The movie is not complicated to understand. Everything here is simple. Event the characters are simple. The saving grace for this movie is the debut of French actress Louise Bourgoin in the international label.

The Love Punch opens in  Philippine cinemas on Black Saturday, April 19. For more quality movie reviews, updates, interviews, and releases; like L.E.N.S. blogs on Facebook.
