You can expect that when Halloween is near, cinemas will start showing horror movies. One movie in particular is V/H/S. The movie follows suit after the type of film making that made The Blair Witch Project a box-office hit. It pioneered the use of hand-held cameras as if the characters were filming on-the-spot while the horror happens.
In the case of the movie, it is an anthology. Gathering 5 stories to make up a theme is not an easy task. Especially if there are different directors on each one. I see this production as an innovation to promote new talents like independent movie productions. But I never expected some special effects that can be quite alright. Here in the Philippines, V/H/S is an SM Cinema exclusive.
