March 18, 2015. SM Aura, Taguig. Sinag Manila kicked off during its opening day. Five independent movies are showcased exclusively at selected SM Cinemas(Aura, Megamall, Mall Of Asia, North EDSA, Manila, Fairview, and Southmall).

These movies are not your mainstream types but they were done by notable independent film makers our country can offer. The following movies and their directors are the following:
Balut Country - Paul Sta. Anna
Bambanti - Zig Dulay
Imbisibol - Lawrence Fajardo
Ninja Party - Jim Libiran
Swap - Rempton Zuasola
Sinag Manila is also a friendly competitive movie festival and they will be judge by:

Bienvenido Lumbera: National Artist, Philippine Literature
Armando Yasin Lao: Screenwriter/ Director
John Badalu: Film Producer
Paolo Bertolin: Producer/ Film Critic
